License Agreement

Moth Software grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Mail Archiver X under the terms and conditions stated in this agreement. Use of Mail Archiver indicates your agreement to the following terms and conditions.

Standard Version of Mail Archiver X

You may use Mail Archiver X on your personal computers to archive all your own emails. You can archive as many email addresses/IMAP accounts as you want as long as they are your own email addresses. Storing archives on any type of network or cloud is not supported.

Starting with version 7 a licensed user is entitled to any updates and/or new versions, free of charge, for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.

Let's say you buy a license on 22-Mar-2023. You will have access to a version that becomes available at 1-Mar-2024. On 23-Mar-2024 this version will continue to work. If I release a new version at 1-Apr-2024 and you install this new version then Mail Archiver will revert back to trial mode and you will be able to buy a license update. If you don't install the new version then your existing, legacy version will continue to work until unsupported by the operating system.

EasyVersion of Mail Archiver X

You may use Mail Archiver X on your personal computers to archive all your own emails. You can archive as many email addresses/IMAP accounts as you want as long as they are your own email addresses. Storing archives on any type of network or cloud is not supported.

Mail Archiver X Pro (workgroup version)

You may use Mail Archiver for all users in your organisation. The server supports up to 5 concurrent users. A license is valid for one year. You need a subscription to continue to archive emails. Without a current license the application reverts to trial mode.

Mail Archiver X Pro (single user version)

You may use Mail Archiver X on your personal computers to archive your own email. You can store your archive in the network. Only one user can access the archive from multiple locations at the same time. A license is valid for one year. You need a subscription to continue to archive emails. Without a current license the application reverts to trial mode.

You may not:

1. Make copies of Mail Archiver X or of the user manual in whole or in part except as expressly provided for in this agreement. Your right to copy Mail Archiver X and the user manual is limited by copyright law.

2. Make alterations or modifications to Mail Archiver X or disassemble or de-compile Mail Archiver X, or attempt to discover the source code of Mail Archiver X.

3. Sub-license, lease, lend, rent, or grant other rights in all or any portion of Mail Archiver X to others.

4. Archive the emails of other users. If you want to do this it's possible to get an affiliate agreement.
